
DUE DATE
Bills are mailed approximately 15 days before they are due. A bill will always be due on the 17th of each month. Failure to receive a bill will not entitle the customer extended time to pay. Bills paid after the due date are subject to an additional fee that is shown on your monthly bill.

By Mail - Enclose the payment stub portion of your bill with your payment and use the payment envelope that is enclosed to return your payment. If you do not have a return payment envelope, please mail your payment to:

At the Office - Located at 200 West Morford Street, office hours are
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for major holidays). There is a drive-up window available at this location.
Night Depository - Located at 200 West Morford Street next to the
drive-up window, a secure depository is available after hours. There are payment envelopes available to enclose a payment along with the payment stub. If a payment stub is not available, please complete the information requested on the payment envelope. Drop the payment into the marked slot. Any over payment will appear as a credit on the next billing. Any balance owing, if not subject to disconnection, will appear as a debit on your next billing.

DELINQUENT NOTICE
A notice will be mailed to the customer if payment has not been received by the due date. This notice shows a LAST DAY TO PAY date. Payment must be received in the MES office on or before 5 p.m. on the LAST DAY TO PAY to avoid disconnection. If service is disconnected, full payment (no checks accepted) plus a reconnect charge will be required before service can be restored. Reconnection charges will increase on holidays and weekends, after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. An additional deposit may also be required. A charge will be added each time a collector makes a trip to a service address.
