Comprehensive Services Package
This program offers commercial and industrial customers engineering and technical assistance to help maximize energy resources. The following are the services available through this package.
Power Quality Study
Data is gathered through a series of special monitoring devices so an engineering analysis can be conducted and recommendations on how to correct power quality problems is provided.
Industrial Process Recommendations
A study and recommendation is made to determine the most efficient flow of materials through the production process and the most effective use of labor.
Electric Usage Analysis
An energy survey is conducted on your facility that will help determine areas in the company where energy usage can be reduced.
Lighting designs and recommendations are made for indoor and outdoor areas, production areas, office space, and for safety and security. This includes recommendations for improving existing conditions or lighting layouts for new installations.
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning analysis is conducted to determine the best system for your business.
Electrical Distribution Systems Analysis
Recommendations for the service entrance, electrical layouts, transformer size, conductors, and emergency generators are provided.
If you are planning an addition to your present facility or a completely new building, energy use projections, system cost comparisons, and recommendations on materials and building techniques are available.
Power Bill Analysis
A breakdown of your power usage in your monthly bill is provided. This includes a look at the rate, demand charges, and power factors.
Enhanced Growth Credit
This program is available as an economic development tool by providing substantial credits on power bills for companies that locate or expand in the Tennessee Valley. If you are a new or expanding customer with a power demand of 100 kW or more, you may qualify.
